I just thought of another idea!

maybe there was an electrician who was working on some wires outside (or elsewhere) during the night and accidently did something which caused the light in your room to be turned on

or faulty wiring, since any building (new or old) may have this problem

but really, I'm just grabbing at straws here, and my experiences with such things are sadly lackng

I don't think the electrician outside would make my switch change it's placement

Why don't you simply turn on cam before sleeping, set to record area around your bed (:O), leave lights on (unless camera is able to record in the dark), and check tomorrow morning video. :P

Anpu ^^ I have a cam, but the tape won't last longer than an hour. Without an option to record with my computer there's no way I can do that, besides it doesn't happen too often and my bed is right next to kitchen, too far from PC ;P

Besides I don't really think it's needed to record myself sleepwalking. It's quite a normal "illness".

Hm, what about putting little bells on rope around your bed, so if you get up, it ll ding? If you wake up out of bed, you ll know you really sleepwalked, and not disturbed by third person. ^^
Sleepwalking is completely normal "illness", and I consider it as the most funny and interesting one.

Wow...i hope you find out what this is soon Piz...kinda bizzare indeed

But yeah, go with the something noisy tied to you to wake you up or , get a friend to stay with you for a few days/weeks/months to help, and really...i think Dann's idea of flour on the floor is good, ok messy and a pain to clean up, but wouldn't you rather clean up some cheap flour or let this keep happening?..

maybe it is ghosts...im positive my dad haunts me..he steals my hairbrushes..with is stupid...cos he was bald
