Yes, but this is a game, its meant to be escapism from real life, its meant to be fun.
Its not meant to be a second job that eventually pays off with the 'fun' that you signed up for in the first place.
The simple truth is most players are not willing to spend hundreds of hours grinding before they can even participate enough to see if the game is 'fun' for them. And most of those who make it to that point will agree its not that great anyway.
Grinding is fine, but not too much, and not without some rewards and actual fun things to do along the way. Regnum doesn't have any.
