I disagree, killing someone who is afk in the warzone is not against the rules or the spirit of the game. Also the distance you were from your save at the time is completely irrelevant, since he only killed you once. Even if you were sitting on top of the altar it's still not save camping, as camping implies more than one kill.

He saw you as free rps...I accidently killed Domino Harvey once on Meco..on a horse somewhere near pozo i think..started to attack and then realised they were afk...but it was too late..i felt sooo bad after... Sorry Domino.

Incidently i was save camped more on Ra then i ever have been on Horus..specially around meni save(the old one) both Syrtis and Alsius loved to save camp there

I did say AND...i agree its not against the rules, and away from the saves if you go afk then yes your fair game. I did say in me 1st post....not exactly camping. But i do think the principle of killing at a save is against the spirit, and from the various threads on the camping theme, others do as well.

More than 1 kill to make it camping...if you kill the same player more than once then i agree they have the choice of respawn, and risk it. But the 1st time you respawn most of the time you have no idea the save is camped - you on the wrong channel....the message has scrolled out of view etc - timed right thou id imagine a small grp can kill quite a few people in a short space of time with no risk at all. You get overrun in a battle and lots die vry close together. Or on logon there's no warning at all, and the saves with markets near are common log off/on spots.

On another track slightly - If the wz saves were removed completely...what would happen?...I think the gates and the 1 tele exit would be camped....that i imagine would cause more posts than the initial removal of the saves. But at least at a gate you'd have the guards.


As this actually happened to me when i was about lv 14 I'll throw it in, so didn't know much about invasions....I got killed near the gate....chased down as the invaders came thru the gate..i was basically watching lots of peeps run down the road when i got spotted. By the time i was killed and respawned at the Raer save, the enemy had got there....I was killed 2 or 3 times at the save on respawn, cant choose to respawn anywhere else...1 shot kills...I had no chance..Id imagine that i was unchalleging or below to them. Now was that in the spirit of the game ? and if yes then it must be save camping at its best.

You get several minutes of Resurrection dizziness after dying, just go into the city...

I don't know when this incident was but resurrection dizziness was (silently) reduced to 30s a few updates ago. This may still be time to get to safety, though if he really was a "1 shot kill", maybe not.

i voted yes/Ra

but this isnt happening in all realms, right now alsius have 2 great problems with the saves, you can call it save camping or save controlling, or what ever...

the thing is that trelle, and imperia`s saves are too close to the bridges, the saves are closer to the enemy realm than to the respective fort, and that situation, make both saves easy targets for groups, and allows to the enemy to control the rezz points. above all that, both vulnerable saves are closer to a different realm, so syrtis and ignis can group forces in order to take control of the saves, but alsius must split forces to defend them.

can i rezz at the gate? yes i can, can i go lvl inside? yes i can can i log off and play something else? yes i can, but neither of this options helps to fix the problem. the real problem here, is not, being killed at the save, there is a much bigger problem, than that, and only happen in alsius TWICE!!

Not a bad idea. I have never been a victim of spawn camping but if seen people complaining about it yesterday even. I dont think its the most major problem in the game, but it is a concern. As a victim of FPS spawnkilling, i know how infuriating it can be.

I also liked the idea of WZ towns. I think we should actually have a small village inside the castle (this was the case in medeval times). These small villages would be similar to the beginner towns (possibly smaller) and would NOT provide extra guards, just NPC's
