Ubuntu 9.04 and Mumble 1.2.2
Ok i'm having problems installing mumble 1.2.2 on Ubuntu 9.0.4, i'm a novice when it coms to linux. I downloaded the file from mumble.sourceforge.net and i'm given a file "murmur.x86" i double click this NOTHING happens nothing even slightly tries to run it (and yes i do have it selected and an executable program and no i dont get an error message when i run it) i've tried executing through a terminal still nothing.
So my questions are, Is anyone having the same problem apart from me and Brotherbrian? Is there anyone who had this problem and knows the solution? Do i have to upgrade to 9.10 to get it to run? also if i use the code: Sudo aptitude install mumble, it just installs mumble 1.1.7. |
