Problem before gameplay

Ok, I just downloaded this game today, everything ran smoothly, even the character creation and starting video. It loaded several resources for the game however after I chose to play the game, it wouldn't load any of the games resources but I could hear gameplay footage going on. Yet the screen stating that it's just loading resources won't go off. I SEVERELY need help here, because I need an MMO to play.

When you start the game - just after typing in your user name & password there is an "Options" or "Opciones" button at the bottom - click that, then check the box marked "Update all new resources at once".

Now you get a dog-slow first load while the game downloads everything at once (sorry NGD) and you don't have problems with live loading during the game (cause of many many bits of wierdness, and not just in Regnum Online).

Give it a couple of goes - the first run may not go perfectly.

Other than that - try running in a window (same set of options), it hits the graphics driver in a slightly different way so if the problem is there it might help.

Failing that, another option is use the OpenGL or DirectX renderer (whichever you don't have on right now) - some graphics cards ar better with one or the other.

And lastly the omnipresent & ubiquitous "Are you using the latest drivers for your graphics/sound cards?" query.
