Not quite as boring as Baseball, which is my main complaint about my own country. Why they consider that stand-around-fest the national pastime is beyond me. I think Americans got addicted to statistics at one point, which might explain why D&D came from here.

American Football, Hockey, and Basketball are, imo, far more exciting to watch than soccer and baseball., strangely those are the less-popular sports worldwide.
EDIT: Add rugby/AFL to this list.

This event sounds really awesome to me. Im not a soccer fan myself but who cares if you like soccer or not. a pat on the back for ngd for sparking violence between realms again lol. i wont be supporting my home country (south africa) because my chances of winning anything is the same as our chances of our soccer team making it past the first round.... so im for hire if any country wants me

what if ppl from same country as team and diff realms help each other win rps?? that would be bad...
Another situation: what if a person from a certain country decides to join a country that has the most players?? just to win... whats the fun on that
