What's the island near tower where graj's respawns ?
Go NE from tower to see it... Thats big, green.. gelfs dreadnought ?

There are many islands around the mainland, most of them are tests island which we can be spawned on during events or tests, mostly on Amun

They're either almost empty or filled with test content such as every building in the game etc.

Who knows. There are lots of spots like that, especially in Ignis.

Captain whats his face (Elrik?) once went to one of NGD's islands and found Marvin the Martian. Of course NGD deleted the thread, but I'm sure the screen shots can still be found somewhere in the depths.

The mountains near Yelamid are still like that, you can go off the map from the hills there and into many other spots.

As far as crossing water goes... there are still ways to go about doing that.

Yeps ive been to 'that' island(central island) a few times, it was when we figured out that if you wore party hat's it lowered your hp, therefore you could be healed by a conjurer across to it then NGD introduced the O2 bar...good times good times.

I believe the island in question is the one that is south east of Cactus Coast on the far Ignean coast. Mildly strange considering it is next to Igneo ruins and the deepest deserts of the region, and the island even has trees and grass. IIRC it's one of the fresher islands and I can't say when it was added.

And there are many of them. At least 4 where NGD plays around with models and building havens for themselves to bask in the glory of AFKness.

These islands are some of the oldest chunks of land on the map, probably used by NGD to test random shit in the beta. Every so often, on Amun (or maybe not anymore, but it did happen a while ago), NGD devs would teleport everyone to the islands to do some testing, 1v1s, etc. Every icon on the map (whale, compass, dragon, think there was another one) has an island. I believe 2 of them actually have some interesting features, but the others are just chunks of grass in the middle of nowhere.

Yeah all agreed, and there is even an underwater tree in the middle of nowhere.
