You get also xp for using buffs and heal. But the reward system for this is fucked.
Xp for heals and synergy bond are quite low and you need a good timing for them.

About buffs:
If you buff a player you will just get xp for the next mob he kills. Then you have to recast the buffs.
This is so pointless.

Grinding a support conju has always been a pain. Now that it's not that easy to grind as warjurer grinding conjurer is a mess now.
For getting rid of necro it's the same.
The only reliable way to get xp is aura spamming. Grater Healing, Grater Reg, mana com and so on. Then you get low xp but as long as the aura runs it's usually steady.

I though you actually have to cast it during the combat, for every mob.

To fix it and allow supporters to support anyone, if a conjurer supports during a kill, they take no xp from the kill, but gain a base amount of xp dependent to the conjus lvl, so that a 49 conj doesnt have to support a lvl 48-49, they could support any lvl.

Not sure about this.
Fact is, it is flawed in the current state.

Skill things like bless etc, spam them, you will get xp, also mana com and GH used to get you xp on most mobs, not sure if it still works now..i need dragon necro to work that out ^^

For me it as always been like this, buffing an ally before he kills a mob never gave me xp, maybe it was just a matter of timing. I always had to buff at least once while he was attacking so I would get xp. Regenerate ally usually worked as well.
I haven't done support since the update, but I'm pretty sure it's still the same crap.

1 heal ally is enough to get exp, if ur ally starts with an autohit right after u used heal ally (if he uses some spell right after the heal, u wont get exp).
to get xp via buffs(bless, bless weapon...) u just need to recast it after each mob.

As far as heals go, you won't get XP if the person you healed casts a spell directly after you heal him/her. You do get XP if he/she hits with a normal though. It was like this for a long time now but I havent tested in the latest version.
