Eh, ximerin bonuses are all well and good, but I wanted the holiday quests and valentines exchange. Boo. Well, I do appreciate attention put toward the update. And we still have the kissing animation, even without that little cloud of hearts floating which was quite sweet. Ah, well. Raife and I celebrated Valentine's Day here at home. Maybe ingame we'll teleport back to init island and dance around the Cupid statue.

Regarding quest items.
Yesterday before update I asked friend to help me with killing Great Grizzly Bear(very hard on this level) in Alsius for quest. He did and I got Quest Earring. I didn't close the quest and when I logged in after update I had no earring))) So I had to close quest and make it one more time =P

What NGD has in store for Warmasters expansion will probably be vastly superior to any Valentine's Day event.
I celebrated Valentines in the other MMORPG I play, it is called real life.

They (NGD) are working hard and it should have been expected that there would be no event this year. Basic common sense. Besides, nobody knows if NGD will offer a Ximerin promotion after they make the big launch.
There is a good chance they may do this.

Be fair people. Sometimes the requests here are ridiculous and beyond rational expectation.

A ximerin bonus wouldn't hurt anyone and ofcourse they could also give out a bonus after the update

The best business strategy would be to offer Ximerin bonus after the launch, not before.
Maximal player base, most hype, frenzy. Offering before is not going to do NGD bottom line any favours. Remember the main aim is to maximise profit. The people who would buy before would wait and possibly buy more than they initially wanted to depending on what the expansion contains. If the player is desperate for Ximerin now they can buy retail.

Waiting a week won't hurt.
