Hunter - 102
You have just found DMC's Ninja Scroll of Tips Tricks and Tactics. Considering that I have UBER lag, this information will always server you better than it serves me.Table of Contents I Fort War Tactics (with pet) II Fort War Tactics (without pet) III Grinding Tactics IV Hunting Tactics Disclaimer There are many ways to be an effective hunter. What I am suggesting is in no way the only or best method for everyone to play. I When defending a fort door with pet.. Tactic Name: New Master Found 1) wait for enemy to get near the gate 2) find an allied knight or barbarian that is about to use auras/areas on the enemy 3) put pet on defend ally (on that knight or barb) 4) buff your pets and watch them tear the enemy up! (this can be used from on top of the fort wall to help an ally outside as well) (the more hunters defending a single target the better the effect) (the pet will follow the person out of the door as they engage the enemy) (if the pets life is getting to low you can use your mount to save pets hp) When attacking a fort with a pet remember.. * use defend ally as much as possible to protect your important players. * pets can climb fort walls and attack ambushed players * pets will go through fort door to kill people that attack someone you defend * large pets are good to hide behind and inside of to prevent damage * small pets that are close to the ground are hard to target * you can keep clicking first pet control of attack to send pet out of range to distant enemies (know your max range before death) --------------------------------------------------------------- II When defending a fort without pet.. Group Tactic Name: Invisible Eye of the storm 1) wait for enemy to get to the door 2) have a conji cast divine intervention on a warlock that has master of doom 3) have a warlock cast master of doom and vow not to attack anyone! 4) you cast stalker surroundings on that warlock and some others that have area skills 5) exit fort and rape them - hunter can stay inside fort door 6) watch the enemy piss their pants as they cannot cast skills or see the warlock while the barbs rape them. (you can do the same with mana pylons + invisible mages + MORE) Group Tactic Name: Creeping Death 1) gather your forces near you (people that have area damage skills) 2) cast stalker surroundings 3) run to enemy and use all of your area skills (repetition shot suggested for hunter) Intermission (I will write more when I hear enough responses on the above listed tactics) |

I would if i could, but war makes me lag 10 seconds per person that comes on screen.
Also since I am new to horus, people here in ignis don't know me or care to listen. So if you can pull it off.... congrads and enjoy the fun! |

The only problem is getting people to join you under stalker, hopefully this might convince others it is actually a really useful spell.

btw you can actually improve this tactic by casting static field 2, that way they have nowhere to run ^^ edit: question: doesnt stalker go away when leaving the fort?

People playing hunters have to try those tactics at war.
Then they'll know...
