Ahwww that was too easy.. On topic, well I have had this problem a lot of times but then I noticed that I was the first to cast silence and like half a second later the other (mage) casts silence too while he is already affected and it still gets through. |

Judging by screen its max 6 sec between your meteor 3 and silence, so its very likely to be what Enio suggested. Let us call it bad luck.
I can see how its WTF-moment coupled with what seems to be lag, causing you to be dizzy before his spell is registered in the log. |

I've tested this with dizzy, and yes Enio is right. I didn't really have the option to test it perfectly (because of bug that causes problems while scrolling log). I can't confirm it's for any other spell then the Meteor - Silence combo, but I can confirm that when you cast Meteor on your opponent and cast silence within the duration of your previous meteor, the silence effect (dizzy) will stop when the original meteor effect (dizzy) ends. Is this a bug? Seriously, it shouldn't do that right? Same with the stun.. Though, I know this has been the problem since i started playing RO.. That's around 2 and a half year now. Sigh.. this will probably never get fixed |

Happened to me few times, me and other lock cast silence or meteor at the same time and only one of us got dizzied (looks like server decides who). Entries in log are sometimes swapped because of delays between server-client or something like that, and even if i see my silence first i can be the one made dizzy.
Also happened to me while on barb, I casted southcross, which killed one marksman I was chasing, but somehow he casted winter stroke right before his death ... he died and I got frozen by his WS. |
