Thanks mate but not really joined again, just logging in once in a while to greet some friends. Bunnies are not the problem, the lack of things to do is ;p. Quote:

Just tested Safe Mode, and yes I can confirm it does work normally with safe mode.. But my FPS is around 20 and everything is on the lowest setting. On OpenGL on the other hand I get around 40 fps, and nice graphics.

By the sounds of Frosk's post I was talking a load of crap (as usual ) and your trouble has been caused by changes to the client, guess your stuck with opengl for now.
In principle opengl and directx ask the card to do the same things but there are usually a few different ways all those things can be done, maybe there is another game gets the same kind of bug in opengl, good news is its unlikely to be a hardware problem. Doubt anything will change with the bunnies but looking forward to the announcements, I know there is more than just the folks here on the forum to keep happy but hopefully some of our issues are being considered. |

Had same problem.
ATI new driver is too blame i think. I had exactly the same problem. Uninstalled all ati drivers, then reinstalled graphicdrivers from the manufacturer of my lappys homepage in my case Asus, solved problem.
