Low FPS

Is anyone experiencing this issue? I'm getting like 19FPS everywhere where normally would be around 30-40( yes a 10FPS matters alot). Sometimes it balances between 20-30 and back down to 14-19. Anyone has the same issue?

My specs:
Pentium(R) Dual-core CPU @ 2.9Ghz.
2GB of ram
Nvidia GeForce 7300 LE
Windows 7 32bit

Yep, did it yesterday actually. Nothing new so far...

Well i think its the game server then.
Your CPU is the baddest hardware atm on your rig, but it should be sufficiant to run RO.

Geforce 7300 LE is an outdated graphics card from low end segment of the Geforce 7 series. I think you play at "fixed pipeline", don't you?

You can try the new client on Amun. The most users have a strong FPS increase in Amun.

But I think it's better that you update your rig (all components).

According to your FPS decrease problem:
It can be that some players spawn at your point of view (partly or completely) in the ground. That result in a very high CPU load and very high FPS decrease.

Which tasks and processes are running on background while you play?

I play in Direct3D. In Amun I get around 30FPS which is ok. I hoped I would get better but's ok.
I don't open any windows/tasks while playing RO.
The weird thing is that yesterday I had a really good FPS around to 30-40. Today I got around 18....

Yeah i see now that your graphics card came out in 2005
Thats an pretty old card, thought it was newer
