Must be said i'm very proud of how my clan has come together - in the first day we recruited nearly 80 characters. Alot of older members of alsius (Los, Enio, Epon, Hoti etc.) have been a tremendous help now that i'm back at work. At last count we had 170 members at least 20-30 of which are active and leveling i have high hopes for.
I've opened dedicated guild websites bought a dedicated mumble server. We've held their hands as much as we can along the way and mumble has helped alot in building rapoor/friendships with the steam users. I also have offered leveling incentives for each member. Encouraging that our new members take part in RvR/invasions as soon as possible plans to hold arena nights and encouraging them to queue for TDM just to give them a taste.
They know the leveling will be tough but they know what is to come to. The people that knock the game know nothing of the RvR side or even proper PvP (one of the steam discussions bad mouthes the game because of how awful he found the banner quest at level 3, i lol'd)
I don't expect other clan leaders to go to the same lengths as me, nearly permanently being inner realm and spending a substantial ammount of money so they dont HAVE to so they can stick with the game. Though i know alot of clans ARE capable of similar (DL, Inq for example). I want this to work out i DO love this game there are times you pull your hair out but this game not only forges friendships we have for years but also does provide entertainment and some adrenaline fueled moments. I want war to be bigger and better and i'll do what i can to make that happen
