Default Ignis lore update

So it seems I've began with Ignis lore. I'll update piece by piece for anyone who's interested.
Now Ignis and Syrtis lore will be a little similar as Ignis are the exiles of Syrtis. Then again, most of the quests are recycled and copied to each realm...buuut anyway here goes.

Daracan/Darakan - Well everyone knows who this guy is. The second version is highly unpopular due to so far, only one NPC mentions it. It might also be a typo
So he's profiled as a guy with a dark past which could cause a scandal if anyone found out. He is also considered as liar, a peasant and also he thinks highly of himself, as he believes he's the Godsent.

So in a quest you'll found out that Daracan, bribes three guards in doing his dirty work. They're now in a pickle as they are forced to be silent or they might be murdered. Daracan somehow succeeded to bribe his way to the top and he is now the passage between the people of Ignis and the priestess.

People of Ignis that have found out, naming Valcanna one of them, thinks it's a good idea to overthrow him and replace him. They're really quick to make a decision about that. But of course he remains. So far.

~(This would be a nice idea to build on this and have another NPC replace him and maybe put Daracan in exile somewhere in the desert or in the warzone.)~

There are many important persons mentioned in Ignis lore. Perhaps there are as much as there are in Syrtis though I didn't pay attention.

Idrich - He was a very powerful conjurer which once has lived. He died in a battle versus Alsius, saving his Ignean brothers. He also possessed a powerful scepter. This scepter could control the winds and weather if one knows how to use it. The scepter held the name, Idrich's Scepter, since then.

This artifact has been lost till you find it again and hand in to Valcanna.
(Doing some quests which rewards unique items is another idea to build 1) sub-storyline 2)More items 3)More quests)

Default Ignis Quests & Lore ~ Runestones

So this will be the last part of Ignis' lore & quests. I might re-write them again as the Spanish forum did. Anyway, here goes.

There were three elves, three great people which remained legendary for generations. These were Allamar, Greathen and Lefrath.

Allamar, the only elf who had wielded a sword. Keep in mind that wood elves have a fragile body, unlike Dark Elves. The general of the realm(I think here all are copied & pasted), holds his artefact in his sword.

Greathen - The legendary mage, the sole creator of magic, potions, enchanted rings and amulets. Another legend in Elven Lore.

Last and not least, Lefrath - The stealthiest hunter ever lived. His runestone has been broken apart, however, one can simply collect the pieces and put them together again.

All of these were friends, whom they fought battles together.

When collected you are asked to put them in a chest and put a spell on it to lock it.
To work with these runestones however, you need another four, those of the elements. The following is the reason why.

Legend has it that a lake contained all powers of nature, full of knowledge and secrets. Illusions and traps hid it well and kept it from intruders. This was none other the "Lake of Ancients". Several tried and failed.
Only four succeeded in getting this lake, which later became its protectors, their guardians. These four were;
  1. Defrath, whom he was rewarded with the power of Earth
  2. Lyon, whom he was rewarded with the power of Wind
  3. Veren whom she(?) was rewarded with the power of Water
  4. Sylian, whom(she(?) was rewarded with the power of Fire.
All of these were wood elves. All of them kept protecting it for generations.

When the Great War began, the Soul Monger was captured and imprisoned in the Lake of Ancients. The runestones, the key to this Lake, were shot across The world and encased in the Tomb of Elements. Moreover to open the tomb, you had to defeat its four guardians, none other than the Pendent Holders.

If all were collected, one could summon the Soul Monger and turn the tide of war drastically.

Now, you, the player are sent to collect a symbol of each element, which each one activates the guardians/pendent holders and you begin defeating one by one.
After defeated all the guardians you receive the key to open the Tomb of Elements.

The tomb is opened and you receive all the elemental runestones. After that, you are ordered to put the runestones into the chest for safety.

You are sent to the noble with a letter, as the guards tell you that you'll receive a reward, however it turns out that the letter contained accusations against yourself, those of trying to resurrect the Soul Monger for the other side. Moreover, the chest is empty, the runestones are gone.
You are cast out of the realm for 5 days, then returning back to prove that if you're a traitor, you wouldn't return back.

The order that has recruited you, don't remember anything, this left the noble two reasons for this situation; Either they were working for the other side, and you, the player, were tricked into their service, or the a mysterious force mind controlled them which lead them to you to serve them.

A potion is made in order to find the runestones. Pouring the potion over the chest, you'll find a parchment inside. This showed the current position of the runestones. You deliver this news top the noble where he sent an army to this particular location.

Meanwhile you are pardoned when you return to the noble. However the noble has bad news which once again, you must come to the rescue. The army he sent was defeated and only few came back. They said that a man summon a powerful demon which was impossible to kill. There a chest was laying which is believed to hold the runestones.

You are sent to this location, there you meet Ordamo(in Ignis' case), where you begin battling his summon. Once you defeat him, he says that it is too late. He was already free from his prison. He has emerged from the Lake of Ancients.

Legend has it that a Dark Elf, named Nehred, had summoned the Soul Monger. However he was defeated by the three great elves(I assume Allamar, Greathen and Lefrath, else their runestones are useless), who they sacrificed themselves in order to defeat the demon.

All this left me with few questions. Very few actually, not a lot of loopholes as I had thought.

Who really is the Soul Monger?
Was Ordamo just another pawn? He is an Esquilio.
Where is the Lake of Ancients?

Keep in mind, that all that I've written is what is found from the quests and in-game. None of this is fabricated.

Other pieces of lore

Allahed

Allahed was a wood elf who was exiled with all the other elves and human tribes. He, however had the strength, and was the first Ignis leader of all.
He lead them in the deserts and in rough plain, where many died, but they all kept believing in him. He established a relationship with the Moloks, which then, together they founded Ignis.

He has chosen three people, from each race the strongest, to keep leading and keep their morale; Marlak, Alexia and Sigfrid.

It is believed that the exiled has first arrived near the beach, where now a town is named after him, Allahed.

Moreover, there is a place in the initation zone, called Allahed's Arteries. there a statue of an elf is found and several other igneos which I assume is meant that he was feared from the Igneos.

Another belief is that the exiled elves where not turned into dark elves as soon they founded Ignis. Furthermore, the first leader of Ignis, Allahed died as a Wood elf.

-------------------------------------------

This is the end of Ignis Lore. The runestone story is all the same in all realms except Ordamo is changed.

As I said before, I might write it in a story not parts as the Spanish community died, but I don't know for sure.

Best Regards and I hope you appreciate it.

Forgot, Sultar

My bad. He states that he quit his adventures in search of knowledge.

Also, the only spells he invented were Sultar's Devouring Mass and Sultar's Terror. And if I remember correctl,y they were used against Evendim at first.

Honestly, as I suggested ages ago, have the community flesh out each section and important characters. Have a 5 man team (community based) fact check it and make sure it has continuity. This team (prolly community voted) then makes final editorial cuts and prepares the final text sections which they present to the community at large. Right here on this forum .

NGD encourages forum use by making a link to the topic in-game by the notice board that comes up as you enter the world. More players getting exposed to the forum is a good thing.

Make the novel. Have NGD green light it. NGD will then, at its convenience, use this at some point to flesh out the lore in-game.

End.

Ye, Sultar... Sultar is a long story.
Sultar the Terrorist, aka Sheikh bin Laden de Allahed, was once known as skilled warrior and weapon scientist. He constructed hand used short range rocket launcher, later known as Sultar's Terror. He was also pioneer in chemical weaponry development i.e. Sutar's Devouring Mass which is based on farts of goats' grazed in Menirah surroundings. Due to his battlefield skills and weaponry knowledge he was uncatchable by other realms' forces until he was sold for handfull of Ximerin and Tenax Ammy by ignean snitch signing himself "DoubleV". Captured, he was put in Syrtis camp "Beautiful Bay" (syrt.:Guaan They Nee'mo), where he suffered brain washing and reeducation. Now, set up for gold gathering he makes his bussines in Menirach Market, while also being double agent for Greens and Goats. Identity of the snitch that sold Sultar has never been revealed, but he is said to be still working and web of his cooperatives is legion big.

Quest objective: find and reveal the Snitch.
