Default Goats are far more clever than previously thought

New research from Queen Mary University of London shows goats learn how to solve complicated tasks quickly and can recall how to perform them for at least 10 months, which might explain their remarkable ability to adapt to harsh environments.

Speakin' of goats, I think I'll bump this thread...

...according to Nils, goats don't think, they live to just wantonly butt stuff without any clear motive. Is there any scientific proof or evidence of his counter-claim (other than on Haven), Recoil?

Just

No no no.

Goats can think. They just don't bother to most of the time.

And this embraces the essence of being 'cool':

Compare with the Grizzly bears on Kodiak island. They are huge and one of them could snap the neck of a moose with just one blow, if it wants to. They don't do that very often though. Most of the time they just walk around peacefully on four legs and munch away on blueberries. That is all what being cool is about.

To be able to, but not wanting to, is cool.
To want to but not being able to, is the opposite.

Grizzlies are cool. Goats are cool. Guys who drive Jaguar TWR V12's carefully and keep the speed limit on public roads, are cool. Able but unwilling.

Angry yapping tiny chichuahuas are uncool. They are the size of kittens, but think they are siberian grey wolves. Tailgaters in Audis are uncool. Unable but willing.

Goat Simulator is released next week btw, on April 1st (no joke):
