lvling up skills
When can you lvl up your skills past lvl 2?
My character is now lvl 24 and since I became lvl 8 I have been unable to lvl up any skill past 2. It always says that I am not a high enough lvl. Is this a problem or am I really not a high enough lvl? And if I am not a high enough lvl, at what lvl can I? |

Your discipline level can be leveled up to a bit over half of your character's lvl, provided you have enough discipline points.
e.g. At character lvl 21, you can raise your discipline up to lvl 11. (deleted slightly flawed formula, my math sucks :P so I used Kiiranis' example instead) As for skill levels, you can only raise them according to certain lvls. At discipline level 3 you can raise skill level up to 2. At lvl 11 up to 3. At 15 up to 4. And finally at discipline level 19 you can max your skills to level 5. HTH. |

You should be able to level them at 21, but you need level 11 in the tree the skill is found in.. The level your character is at has nothing to do with it beyond allowing you to reach that level, which happens at 21. At level 15 in the skill tree you get level 4, and at 19 you get level 5.

from Lv21 on you can get Lv3 spells, use /reset_powers if you need to, it'll let you set all your skills to 0 again so you can redistribute all your points. There is no penalty for doing this.
you need Lv11 in a dicipline for LV3 spells, Lv15 for Lv4 and Lv19 for Lv5 or in other words, maxed spells. Never put a dicipline on an even number, it's a waste of points you can place elsewhere. You can use the trainer at RegnumZG to pre plan your builds http://www.regnumzg.com.ar/index.php...iner&Itemid=44

You only get new spells on odd-numbered discipline levels. There is no benefit to training to an even discipline level, it just wastes points, so save your points or spend them on another discipline.
Disciplines can be trained up to your half of your character's level (rounded up). This means at level 21, your disciplines can go to 11. Level 29 allows disciplines to go to 15, and at level 37 your disciplines can be level 19. Special character levels: Level 8: You can raise spells up to level 2. Level 10: You specialize your class, and the game gets a lot more fun. Congratulations, you are no longer in kindergarten. Level 21: You can train disciplines to 11, allowing level 3 spells. Level 29: You can train disciplines to 15, allowing level 4 spells. Level 30: This is the recommended minimum level for entering the war zone, though this is only a suggestion. Level 37: You can train disciplines to the max of 19, allowing level 5 spells. Level 50: Now you can stop grinding, and concentrate on PvP! Actually you'll still have to grind sometimes, as repairs are very expensive at high levels, and you'll need to earn some money. |
