exactly i was attacked by a green hunter and at the same time a great ware wolf attacked me
hunter , his pet , great ware wolf vs me this happens alot

Please fix it soon, some quests are nearly impossible now cause of the new aggro system (Emerald hills is creeping of aggro Mobs, so it's impossible to go there now).

Fix it...
Trix sighs Translates to break it again for anyone actually wanting a challenge. If this was a narrative situation, okay, so there's an area full of dangerous creatures, fine. There's two possible reasons you want to go near there. Because you're trying to get to another location, and it's in the way, or you need to kill the monsters there for a quest. Solution in the first case, plan a route around the creatures, solution to the second case, attack the monsters around the edges. I've levelled a new character quite happily since the patch, it's not that hard. And if your complaining about getting attacked whilst trying to do PVP in the warzone, again, use some narrative logic, stop picking fights in areas swarming with agro creatures... When faced with a challenge, instead of getting a petition together to have your hand held even more, why not stand up to the challenge, it can be rewarding once you get used to it, I promise...

It's almost funny.
When the monsters we're sleepy, nobody complained. People joyously shot at immobile targets, still delighting in the XP, even though it was tediously dull. When an improved faction system was suggested, everyone focussed on monsters attacking each other, again this was looked upon favorably and people were all for it. Now monsters are making an effort to attack players and work together, people are acting like its the end of the world... For us a monster means XP and loot, for a monster, it's only goal, it's only reason for existing, is to kill us, the players, why are people so shocked now they've been given the ability to do that. Next people will start crying when monsters actually get powers as well...

I am actually sort of starting to like it in some masochistic way...
You have to plan your attack before-hand, making sure you have an escape route if necessary. It takes a bit of getting used to, but in the end i like the challenge it present. If you want to hunt alone, tred carefully and you'll manage. I had to get me some "very hard" goblin shaman masters for a quest on goblin mountain. Instead of just barging up the hill, i stayed at the foot of the hill, carefully selecting my targets, being aware of all other mobs around me, so i notice when they get agro. It wasn't even that very hard and i managed to get them without dying. And the thrill when doing so was excellent. Much less boring then when i was levelling my other char... It's fun... We were all just spoiled... ![]()

trash i think you misunderstand it a bit..
you talk about challenge, ok.. the challenge now is to just avoid certain areas. try to get to PP2 atm.. there is no way from any side at the moment. try to fight somebody and plan. you can hardly plan because the aggro range is that big that youll hardly find a way through them. try to use the mobs in hunt for your advantages by planning a route or sth.. nochance as they have no real logic in attacks nor when running back when you get out of follow range. where the hell is the challenge? challenge is there when there is the right balance, that is what i mean.. its unbalanced at the moment. As it is now it has too much luck-influenced impact on PvP and you cannot really change the odds by your skill (what would be a challenge). at the experimental it is unbalanced too as there the range is now much too low. |

The great w.wolves were agro a few months ago.
I have no problem with them being agro again. I also agree that having agro mobs can make the game more interesting and challenging. But currently the agro mobs are too persistent. 8 or 10 mobs following you for such a long distance is simply too much. |
