Do you lose anything if you die?

I am just now downloading Regnum. I have played asdastory most recently and we lost exp and possibly some items from our inventory at higher levels (I'm not sure about that part) if we died, but our bodies couldnt be looted, and someone with a revival scroll or a healer mage could bring us back to life.

What happens on THIS game if your character dies: 1. in PVE, 2 in PVP (1on1 and in group battles)?

1) If you die in PvE, you will gain 2% necrostacy meaning all of your stats will be reduced by 2. Necrostacy limit is determined by your lvl. Killing mobs which give xp as well as enemy realm's guards and merchants reduce your necrostacy.

2) If you die in PvP, the enemy(s) who killed you gain a certain amount of rp which varies according to lvl. It doesn't matter whether it is one on one or a group battle/fort war.

Necro covered most of it.. but if you die by drowning, you get 5% necrostasy, which means you have to defeat more enemies to get back to normal.
