So you want to improve hunters, huh?
I decided to check through the change-logs to see what improvements and nerfs have happened since I started July 2007 for the hunter class and the conjurer class. I included spells for archers and mages that had an effect on the hunter or conjurer sub-class. I discovered the following: Hunter/archer improvements: 12 Hunter/archer nerfs: 1 Net improvement: 12 - 1 = 11 Conjurer/mage improvements: 3 Conjurer/mage nerfs: 2 Net improvement: 3 - 2 = 1 Details are listed below. Hunter/archer: Improvements: Updated: Camouflage now allows tracking spells casting when active. - Spell: Son of the Wind has new durations and no longer allows damage spells to be cast. Active Bonuses/maluses are not affected. - Spell: Camouflage: Minor duration adjustments, its function changed from defensive to offensive. Pet hides with the owner as well. - Increased hunter speed - Spell: Tear-apart (Long bows): Minor corrections. - Spell: Head of the Pack re-balanced and corrected. - Spell: Ensnaring Arrow now works with weapon damage. This allows the spell to be affected by Head of the Pack. - Updated: Hunters are now allowed to tame creatures up to normal challenge rate (color coded as light blue). - Updated: Hunter's pet is now affected by Low profile (Evasion discipline). - New: Pets now go at the same speed of their owners. - New: Hunter spell "Revive pet" (Replaces Runner). - New: Dirty Fighting [Archer - Tricks]. - New: Escapist [Archer - Evasion). Nerfs: - Spell: Confuse (Tricks): Cooldown increased to 60 seconds. Conjurer/mage: Improvements: - New: Vital Surrender [Conjurer - Life] - New: Blood Drinker [Conjurer - Summoning] - New: Protection dome [Mage - Staff mastery] Nerfs: - Sanctuary now cancels area buffs Greater Healing and Mana Communion - Shortened duration of Mind Blank - level 1 duration reduced from 60 to 20 seconds. Notes: One of the Conjurer "improvements" was the addition of Vital Surrender, one of the least useful spells in the game. I have only used it a handful of times in testing, and I have NEVER seen any other conjurer use it in battle. Both of the Conjurer nerfs were very significant losses. The single hunter nerf was only a slight increase in cool-down in the Confuse spell. |

yeah, general discussion is a joke board...you can write what you want there...game legends like makarios68 are showing it to us. They also show us how to break the terms of use with insulting other people ("stuffy little prick" is an insult in my opinion.) and having more than one account. I wonder why there are laws when everybody can break them without punishment.

Just to let you know - I'm only keeping the Solarus account around so that I can transfer the weapons and armor that I have over to other alsius players. Once I accomplish that I'm deleting the character.....Once that occurs - my account can be deleted; however, I don't think there's a way for me to delete my own account. Now, if that account (Solarus) is deleted by NGD before I have the chance to hand out my weapons and armor....I'm sorry for those that asked for it.
