Nice, thx, that works. But after install of the drivers i had problem with X. 3 hours i tried to repair it... And the result is: Well done!!!!!!!
Now, all textures are working! Thank you all for help!!! |

gah, I got that issue too. I don't wanna mess with the package manager, I did that once and it did not turn out well, 2 sets of drivers installed, one by the packet manager, one by me (compiled from nvidia).
Any advice? Wait until the package manager includes the 173 set of drivers? :/ EDIT: I just found a package in hardy's repo's called nvidia-glx-new-envy, the version number says 173.blah.blah, switching drivers atm, will let ppl know how this goes EDIT2: Yeap, that did the trick. Just install the nvidia-glx-new-envy drivers and bye bye broken textures, no need to compile any drivers yourself and drive the package manager nuts. Remember to reboot the pc, not just restart X.
