Realm imbalance and player trends

I disagree with those of you that say it's getting worse. We have been having some fun and somewhat evenly matched wars lately.

Alsius has been mostly absent but the wars between syrtis and Ignis have been most enjoyable lately.

Alsius used to be very feared as their tactics were quite good. Where have you all gone?

A bit more on topic:

I was thinking earlier today about how I wished we could transfer characters not between servers, but between realms. I'm not sure if it has been suggested before (and karma goes to whose ever idea it was initially), but it might be a good way to add to NGD's bottom line, while possibly alleviating some of the realm imbalance.

As a premium item, perhaps it would allow a person to transfer an entire account to another realm. I imagine the only simple way to do this would be to transfer a "blank" character with xp (and possibly gold). The newly transferred characters would have to be "re-rolled" essentially. I would certainly shell out a few bucks to leave Syrtis on Ra.

I would say, something like this would probably be a bad idea for Horus, as it is still so underpopulated.

I'd really like to transfer my hunter to Alsius and keep my barbarian to play with my Syrtis buddies. Stalker near alsius graveyard ....

Some time ago I suggested a weekly lottery, where random players from an overcrowded realm would get the chance to move to a new realm of thier choice, and they could go if they wanted.

However we forget that there are lots of problems in that, because for example if you did all the Syrtis quests and you moved to Alsuis you would have even more quests, and how can you move for example a dark elf into Syrtis? The races wouldn't work.

@Dracus- I totally forgot about the introductory video! It shoud be redone anyway because when I showed Regnum to my neighbor the whole game was ruined for him at that, mainly because of the spanish speaker in the background.

Moreover it depicts Syrtis longer, and starts with them as some glorius nation that repels the other 2 idiots.

It would be more accurate if it depicted each realm fighting for a different reason,

Alsuis fights for conquest and glory
Ignis fights for pure revenge,

Just want to say: be happy you don't have the newb zerg on your side. It's not as fun as it looks...
I'd always prefer a good 8v8 or whatever. Any day, anytime but that just doesn't exist because:

1) NGD approves of zergs, and have made auras available to everyone in the area (instead of only to your group, which would support grouping instead of zerging)

2) The WZ is too small to have real group fights going on unhindered.

3) There is no /stick feature in this game, making it hard to run a group around in the WZ without people falling behind or lagging off.

Anyways, I am taking a small break from RO. Checking out a game I used to play pre-RO. Saves me some money.

I like number 1) a lot. Also would be much more tactical gaming and needs more teamplay and coordination.

I really enjoy the spanish voice, maybe because I can understand a little bit of spanish. Yeah an English version could be interesting and maybe reworking it a bit so that Ignis doesn't looks like the bad guys and Alsius a bunch og greedy people wanting to expand their lands, it looks like the III Reich expanding policy.

cu guys. this game makes no fun atm. sometimes i will come to pvp and meet friends. but now i play rom and it makes more fun.
thx ngd for do nothing about bugs, lowi bonus, ignis items ( rings with attack speed), buggi spells, too much syrtes and and and.
