Hello,
What graphic card are you currently using? is it up to date? Are you using Direct 3D or OpenGl? Regards. |

Before entering game world, on the launcher go to options and try to change to Direct3D and see if that changes anything.

its not possible for linux users to select direct3D.
I dont know how u can fix the problem. You might find a useful errormessage, if you start RO on terminal. To do this: Open a terminal. Change with cd to the directory where u installed Regnum (e.g. "cd /home/user/regnum"). And then type "sh ./regnum.sh" |

ok, nice that you can play in safe mode. There is a mistake in my last post. The file is called rolauncher.sh not regnum.sh

Note that to launcher binary is: rolauncher
not: rolauncher.sh Unless you have scripted a custom load process Also, OpenAL is a sound library and should not be related to your graphics issue.. although you will need the lib to have in game sound. For Debian/Unbuntu the command "sudo apt-get install libopenal1" from a terminal should install it. For other distro's please check google.com If libopenal1 is already installed do: sudo apt-get --purge remove openal1 && sudo apt-get install libopenal1 One of the above should clear up the message about OpenAL This command from a terminal will tell us what Video Card you have: lspci |grep VGA and we can diagnose your graphics issue further from there. At first glance it looks like a texture (de)compression issue. If it worked on a previous version of the driver, try rolling back to that one.
