I think there should be a users market NPC in every city, or something similar. A place where you can give your items to the NPC and set prices for them. Then anyone can buy it and you get gold. There should probably be a time limit so old crappy items can't be on that list for ages.

A bit more advanced would be to support auctions. Then you don't have to worry too much about what price to set. Most important about auctions is that you need to prevent last second bidding which results in crappy selling prices. This is simply done by extending the auction time limit when a bid is made last minute.

Repair costs and arrows. They're very expensive.

Much of good ideas. I also think that now that the invasion are done..trading should be the first issue NGD should focus on.
