Can any1 tell me diff. between weapons?
I am a mage lvl 10 and i don't know what staff or armor to buy. There is:
staff damage 17-24 durability 60 staff damage 14-19 (+4) durability 80, hit chance +3 which one is best (i should think that of 17-24 but i doubt it cause the other is double the price) Same with the armour: mage tunic: armour 48, durability 60 novice tunic: armour 36 (+2) dur. 80 Can someone explan this to me, please? Thank you in advance! |

Before getting up to level 30 or so I suggest to save all money you can.
You can play without buying any gear from the merchants, the quest items and loot should be good enough for your character. I suggest you save the money for later levels and use anything you find. edit: I suggest to trade with other players too. In example, if you find a good bow I suggest you to give it to an archer you see - free trading and helping others will encourage others to do so too.

Well, the +4 staff is worth more because of its higher durability and hit chance, but the 17 - 24 hits harder (the +4 also has more stable damage). Since the difference in quality is so little, you should buy the cheaper staff (17 - 24).

Certainly you will be able to use some of the weapons and clothing that you receive as drops or quest rewards, but don't go struggling: if you need some new items then by all means buy them. Additionally, don't worry about the durability on items as you'll be out-growing them long before they wear out. |

I would not buy staffs. You get enough staffs as quest rewards that fit to your needs.
I dont know how it is leveling these days, on how much gold you receive. In my case i cannot complain about it. As a mage you will have the least repair costs.
