want to try Regnum online

hey people of Regnum! im currently downloading this game. ive been looking for my kind of mmorpg for days non-stop. i hope this is finally the one.

specifics on what im looking for an mmorpg:

1. great and active community! i dont mind playing games that has not so good graphics whats important for me is i can actually play this game with people not just mind my own business like most of the mmorpg out there.

2. item shops doesnt ruin the game. i dont mind paying if its worth it. but some people really spend tons of real money on games that makes them imbalance already. also for other players who cant buy on item shops be able to buy from other people using game currency.

3. of course the obvious once... no bots, no spammers, seldom to no disconnections, few to no bugs and the likes..

Well, considering the stuff that there's out there I'd say you'll find it nice over here.

Point 1 is pretty much covered (I actually even left wow because of the isolation it causes, as opposed to this game). you may just find trolls at the beginning but that's normal, any lvl 1 char can talk in the relam chat...

Point 2, partially covered. There ARE some things that you can buy that save you grinding time, some others that are just for fun but most importantly, they don't affect playability, pvp or rvr. Only one has an effect on war and it's the war banner, but it's cheap and in a group of 25 or more someone will have one and will use it if there's a big battle being planned. Another premium item, the name scroll may allow someone too famous or (infamous) to dissapear from the scene, but again, it does not affect pvp or rvr. Premium here is optional and doesen´t make anyone overpowered. There is the lucky box though, wich emulates the drop system, as if you just got something from a mob. Chances of getting a really good item are not high, even for the epic box, but again, it's meant for people that don't have time and are willing to risk some money.

Point 3. You won't find any of that junk, neither you'll notice ocasional server crashes, they've become quite rare nowdays, even with the increasing population. We do have bugs though, not nearly as many and destructive as in some mmos out there,but every patch has the potential to bring one or two to the surface.

Give it time, grinding may not be too atractive but it gets better when you cross the relam gates for the first time. Or when your own relam gets invaded by another two. MUahahahaha :]
