I have a couple suggestions for the way the combat system works currently:
1. Buffs (like the mage's starting shield spell) should NOT enter you into combat. 2. At the end of combat, once the target dies, you should leave combat. 3. The combat music just doesn't seem to fit well. My wife and I both agreed that you may want to find something a little less drastic or perhaps with a higher quality similar to the available ambient music. -Brihtwulf |

There are some combat tweaks that will be implemented after we have fixed several priority bugs right now.
About the points: 1) Yes, this is something we thought also and we just added a feature to make this possible. It will be available also on the next major version. 2) This is one of the improvements that we have planned but it will have to wait a little. It will also be available with the rest of the combat tweaks. 3) Funny enough, we implemented a "Turn off combat music" on the audio tab, in the options window. Nonetheless, our music composer is aware of the "problem" and in the near future, we might put another combat theme. Regards
