Horus Stories: The Ignis Chronicles

Just a small story that I came up with over coffee while reading Gawyns
stories.
if any Ignis have an idea catch me in game and outline it maybe we can
come up with more of these.
so anyhow here goes

Rock Hunters

Sitting in the Imperial Guard Quarters in
Medenet Lil Hathy and Lil G were ruminating
over the previous day's hunt.

"Why cant we just have Dalkor change us back?" asked Lil G

"The spell doesnt work that way, get it through your head we have to have the stone."replied the Guards ranking Soul Taker.
"I'm sure if he could he'd change us back to
Dark Elf Knights again."

"I dont really mind being a hunter, but why women squeelies?" G ask.

It was a reversing spell gone horribly wrong that had changed the 2 IGI knights,a terrible case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The defective activation stone had caused them to be temporarily transformed into the exact opposite of their former selves.

The defect being that they randomly changed back and forth at unforseen and often inconvenient times. Never knowing when
they would be morphed back into their original forms or for how long.

"Dont get discouraged we'll find it." Hathy said yet again.

"I still dont see why we have to look in
every nasty corner in all of Regnum for it,
boss. It dont make sense." G replied."Alsius smells funny and Syrtis is just...
nasty."

"It makes perfect sense if you follow through,think man think!"
The senior Guardsman urged his apprentice.
"It was a magic stone,right? Well where do you find magic gems ?"

"Pretty much all over the place." answered Lil G

"Well then it makes sense to look for THIS magic stone all over the place."

"But thats not where Dalkor said he got the first one.
He said it came from one of the traders behind Samal Fort." Interjected G.

"Ok , so where did he get it ?
When we ask he didnt have another but if there's one... there
has to be another one." Hath said. "So we look for another one."

"yeah but why are we killing every goat and gelf we can?"
the other hunter ask."Seems like a waste of energy to me."

"Because they might have found one and we can
get back to normal all the sooner,and its good training for YOU" was
Hathy's reply."What the hell is that?!!!!"

The other Guardsman was drinking from a clay jug.
After a giant swig he replied. "Just a little linkinberry juice"

"Is that Dionos homebrew? How can you drink that stuff this early in the day? It rots yer guts....you know that dont ya?"

"Sissy. Fix yer cleavage there girly" said G ,passing the jug to Lil Hathy.

"No thanks , not right now. Get rid of it and pick up yer bow; we're going out again".....

+1. Nice work ! I liked the second story better. It was better constructed.
If you could take a bit of criticism, as much as you dont care for grammar or spelling, a simple spellcheck and a proof reading to fix grammatical errors would go a long way in improving the reading experience. My two cents...
Keep up the good work and remember, I am waiting for more
