[err][ui_elements]

Up until latest hotfix been playing fine.

After 1.07 hotfix 2, all text appears as [err][ui_elements]

Have already done the following:
- Uninstalled RO, deleted "C:\Games\NGD Studios". Downloaded latest installer from RO web site (not torrent) and installed. Still problem.
- Set in options to download all resources and allowed it to complete. Restarted. Still problem.
- Reviewed firewall settings.
- No AV is installed on t his machine.

Have noted the following:
- Before the hotfix, after selecting server to connect to, a "Checking firewall" message (in RO colours) use to display briefly before the NGD splash screen. After the the hotfix this checling firewall message no longer appears.
- After NGD splash screen a blank screen appears with a downloading 73% bar appears in top left of screen. This slowly climbs to 100% before the character selection screen appears (with the [err][ui_elements] appearing in place of the text.

Note that I am running the Windows 7 64 bit RC build 7100. Though I realise this may be an unsupported OS, it was working great before and this problem seems to have been reported by a number of people in the past with mixed results.

Windows 7?

I've had this problem for a while, and the so called fixes so far are:-

Un-install/Re-install
Disable Anti-Virus
Download all resources

None have worked - beginning to think it's a Windows 7 thing.

I have the same problem on Vista on EVERY update (check that: http://www.regnumonline.com.ar/forum...ad.php?t=46881). You have to take files from properly updated client and copy it to yours. That's bug and there is still no better solution
