Default a few questions from an old noob

After a prolonged period of very little game play i feel like a noob again because so much has changed. So i have a few questions which i hope someone will take the trouble to answer.

Movement now causes delay for attacks - is this for all classes or just archers?

Does this delay apply to strafing - ie, whilst moving in a strafe do we suffer a delay to our attacks?

What is the reasoning for this delay - is it to make life easier for melee classes against ranged? It's just that it seems to me that we are now supposed to simply stand still and go toe-to-toe with each other.

I see that SOW duration has been decreased. I used it last night and its effectiveness to evade also seemed to be reduced - can anyone confirm this?

For hunters: does anyone else have the problem that your pet fails to attack the target? This happened to me several times last night - to the point where i feel i should go petless.

Despite such problems i enjoyed my hunter's return to the regnum warzone. I also want to mention that i've tried some other games and although most of them have better PvE, once you reach max lvl the end games and war zones are crappy.

This is where good old regnum trumps the others: the PvE might be a bitch but i have yet to see a better warzone. So to all those who are lvling a character: endure the grind, then enjoy one of the best, if not the best war game around.

PS, I am staying on Ra - maybe there are just as many pricks on Ra as there are on Horus, but at least i can't tell what they are saying

As far as I know, it is for all ranged classes (buffs also force you to stand still while casting)
