I don't see why this is. I'd expect especially hunters with some kind of cape/cloak to blend better in the surroundings. Also, other classes could perfectly use a cape.

I assume they will either have armour and be able to carry stat boosts like other amour, or just be used as a stat item, like rings and ammulets, which makes sence since the icon on equips is a smaller inner one if I remember well.

And capes work well on hunter style archers at least,

Works on knight too though swords and hammers etc would need to be stored on the waste with spears just held at ease.

For Marks and Barbs a shorter side style one would be better I think,
