Also note this: Expansive waves have to be RIGHT NEXT to the enemy. Sultar you can hide behind the wall and allies. Also I would rather have massive knockdown than lots of extra damage

The reason behind expansive range high damage is because you have to be very close to enemy to use it, a spell like sultars terror can be cast from 30m+ from the target.

You should have been playing the game 1.5 years ago where is was common to be hit with areas of 2.5k
