Technology Update - Negative feedback and problems

Launcher downloads the latest patch and then gives "There was an error patching the game"

Tried a clean install and still giving me the same error.

Just yesterday i wrote how nice and better regnum was and this after noon it was perfect.

But tonight, just now, 30 minutes to log in, then it tells me my main char is already in the game ??????

Ok, eventually I go in with my alt char, appear with no health nor mana but also no items in bag. No armour, weapons, picked up items, money or xim!

Then I try - change chars - count down start then stops. (missing items listed above suddenly appear). Count down resumes after some time. Change chars no problem. (so much for main char already being in game )

Appear as main char where i left it, effe beach. Nothing there. No aquantis, no turtles, no cyclopses or leopards on hill, nothing at all.
So i start moving up beach and i get stuck and sent back to where i started.
Also cast horse, animation starts after some time but no horse appears but yet in log it says ive casted horse. Then i cast dismount and spells reset.

Cannot enter combat mode nor cast any spells.

Other people complaining they are stuck and getting sent all over the place. No 'people' in towns, nothing.

As i log out count down fails to start. When it does its erattic and i finally got out of the game.

Hopefully this is all just a temp server problem?

Also, the custom color hair i paid for has gone as of this morning - refund of xim ngd or will this be fixed?
Not a big issue but it was actually paid for.

This problem still exists. Fixed pipeline (no safe mode).
With safe mode, it is gone (but I refuse to play in safe mode. In old client, I could play normal all these years.).

Just to clear up, Bladnoch is my main account (for my low-tech computer) and Bladnochia is my second account (for my high-tech laptop). This is low-tech computer speaking.
I'm getting the same message here. Last night I downloaded all the resources and it worked fine. Today nothing needed updating and yet it no longer wants to let me in.

I noticed two weird visual artifacts:

Almost all other critical issues are fixed for me, i played hours yesterday without any major issue, good job NGD !! Thank you.

Few remarks:
- some spell visual effects are way too bright
- i have a slightly yellowish color cast with postprocess max out (see screenshots), a bit too much imho (on a my calibrated screen), though it makes RO looks more "medieval".
- Terrain detail are not nice to my eyes, since things appear in a non-smooth fashion.
- overall framerate is very affectate by enabling/disabling shadows, i end up with shadows disabled for fort battles, where reactivity and speed are a must.


Bugs:
- we can still fell from walls in forts (Aggers,Samal,Trelle,Herb)
- old bugs.... pets .... fully configurable action vs key/mouse... double spellbar ... search forum history

Overall i'm happy with the NT.
