Sorry if i am repeating something someone else has said but i dont want to read all 9 pages of posts.... My lag is no more or no less then previously however one problem i have that is different is with animations that others cast. I was hunting with a lock and he cast an area... im not sure but i think it was master of doom and all i could see was a huge black circle that covered everything within 10m of the mage. Selecting anything in this black circle was impossible and when i ran within 10m of the mage my entire screen was black. When the skill was over this issue was over until it was cast again. Later an enemy barb cast something (sorry but i dont know what the skill was) and there was the same problem with blackness. When he came close to me to attack my screen was black again. When i ran away it was ok and when the skill was over the blackness was gone.

One other issue i have had since the update is it seems to take me longer to attack with normals or with powers and this is worse when im around more people (war/forts). I use a slow bow but now it is extra slow... Trolls hit me 2 and 3 times to my once and this is when im standing in place, no movement.

I am running with my settings lowered to avoid extra lag.

update: I have a screen shot of a different animation with the black circle, it isnt as big as the one i saw last night but gives the idea. Also the lag today is unplayable... a full 5 seconds between attacks (normals, powers were worse).

Few graphic errors,

1, Shadows + Hills/Cliffs, a shadow should strech down a hill, currently they just float at the bottem, this may just be a limit of the engine but heres a pic anyway, http://img130.imageshack.us/i/screen...122113382.jpg/

Yes. Experimental Version seemed to have better performance.

I run Win Xp got all stuff up to date for sure ,also I was using a bit the testing client and the problem is on testing client I was able to have all the new effect, but now if I set to Shader model 2.0 and make some settings the game looks same all the time like on Fixed Pipelines... I dont see any effect the water is ugly and no terrain detail. The spells animations looks ok but somethimes I see some quare under the spell animation when I cast Arcane Devotion for example.
The second image shows how it was on testing client with some details on, you can see the hills details also the water looks good.

Software: Ubuntu 9.04 (jaunty) 64bits, Linux 2.6.28.16, NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-190.42
Settings: Shader 4.0 and all options on max, except anisotropic, antialiasing and post-process on minimum

I have some graphic problems on textures. Sometimes they are all black or... hmm... a bit eccentric.

I have a rather unusual question. Because, the shadows are dynamic, beautiful, trees, mobs, rocks! But then, when you're under a cliff, you can see all the shadows from mobs/trees 100m above you. It looks pretty awful, shadows in the middle of a beach, hanging in air. Maybe you could enable some landscape shadows too, at least for the massive cliffs, not necessairly hills.

Ive noticed the same, often on hills of off cliffs shadows dont connect to their objects of origin, like this:

Few issues:
- guards may be blocked by fort walls and don't return to their place until one clicks on them (to talk), this is a major bug introduced by NT.
- at middle of a clear night (moon lights), some textures are way too bright (ie. pb bridge or some rocks).
- some spells visual effects are too bright (already reported by others, since Amun tests, not yet fixed).
- when central island is open, one may track people there, which make tracking at pb bridge or from beachs around quite difficult (noise), a possible solution is to make people on central island untrackable.
- still some holes in fort walls (we can fell from walls).

Old annoying bugs which are not yet fixed:
- pets (many issues, see forums)
- going out of Eferias set the character in the wrong direction (looking to fort)
- going out of any fort under camo, make you visible in your own client (but still invisible to others, hopefully)
- cost calculation in Buy interface at merchants is wrong in many cases

Playability features still missing to be on-par with other games:
- fully configurable keyboard/mouse (it improved recently, but still far from perfect, ie with azerty keyboards and/or multi buttons mouses, all actions should be bindable)
- spellbar with lock, freely moveable, optionnally (a must) double
- improved selection of targets (currently awful as discussed in others threads)
