I find those staves pretty ugly

Question: Can you engrave a socket into a magna staff? So you'd have 3?

Nope, Engrave socket only works on a normal weapon without a socket. That means that most weapons are limited to only one socket, and Magna weapons are limited to two.

It's mostly for use on those epic 'Special' items that used to be droppable (e.g +23 fire damage).

The empty sockets come with the weapon already and you can't engrave any more.

I used the magna axe of barbarian and the true its...really suck!
You have to get 5000 magnas to made one magnanite ------(insert name) and you only get something equivalent to a magical drop
