Mumble Server Thread
I have just started using mumble, on the WLS server (Solomon Dean), and I know of one other server.
However, it isnt that high a population, and it would be great to see more people using mumble. If you have a Microphone on your computer you can use it, and its completely free. What I want to setup here is a list of the known Mumble servers. I currently have two listed on my client. First one: (this seems to be empty 99% of the time, and I'm not sure who's it is) Address: jupiter.mumble-tower.de Port: 50089 Second one: (Solomon Deans WLS server) Address: 67.23.187.114 Port: 30140 If there are anymore servers people wish to add, then feel free.

Anyone want to add to this. Its depressingly quiet on mumble lately....
Mumble is very similar to Team Speak for those who arent sure. Big difference is, its free, and its cross-platform. I have recently realised that Team Speak is now cross platform, but I would gamble that no-one on Regnum uses it. |

I have my own mumble server that I barely use. The problem with mumble though is that for some users they type English and understand the written word over the spoken word. Accents have a play in it as well as some of the players I play with I have a hard time understanding, the same could probably be said the same for them understanding me. Language is a part of the barrier for this game and it shows when trying to get players into mumble and speaking. The other side of the coin is shyness, some may not have mics and/or they have too slow a connection speed (or slow computer) to mumble and play at the same time.
My server is open right now and I don't particularly care who uses it as long as ppl generally follow the same rules as established when making posts in this forum: Syd's Address: 67.23.187.114 Port: 30008 Mumble 1.2 req
