Stone Temple

I just became level 16 and now I've got a passive spell in vanguard called Stone Temple. How does that one works? I have +7 consistution, but the description says something about the knight enduring the damage. Can someone explain this in a clear way to me? Thanks.

More consistution = more hp, more hp = you can endure more damage.

more constitution = more difficult for you to be knocked
