I'm a level 31 knight... I'm too low level for this kind of complaint...
/me runs off wondering what he did wrong... Then Godofsilver remembers... "I need to level up"

Thanks for all your replies.
I expected to get flamed somehow, but it went pretty well :P Well, I was just a bit upset yesterday, and I did not blame any knight in Alsius for this behaivor. It's mostly the Spanish knights which I find it hard to communicate with. Some of them will just stand there screaming for terror, and they are skilled to deal as much damage as possible instead of using protective spells, knock spells, dizzy spells, etc. Knights are meant to be defensive/support class, but many doesn't act as it :/ They simply want to deal as much damage as possible. Something need to be done, if knights got more rp from tanking I think more people would actually do their job. EDIT: @Boger: Aurons is a good knight. He cast Ao1, Precise Blocking and other spells, then he go into the army. Even if he doesn't cause a lot of damae, he use Piercing Area (lvl 5), Trip, Feint, Shield Bash and it takes atleast 3 people to take him down. Usualy he make it back to his own army without dying. EDIT: @Arkenion: Thank you my friend Yes, that's what I intend to do but I am starting to get very tired of it. EDIT: @ByteMe Well, you are one of the better knights in Alsius. Keep on working But, ByteMe, you forget things. Do barbarians have anything comparable with Ao1 ? Do we have anything like Protector/Precise Blocking ? Do we have as good armors ? If you only knew how fast a barb is going down, where a knight would succeed. And ByteMe, about the slow knights. You don't even have to reach the enemy, just rush against them with protection buffs that's enough to get their attention.

You have unstoppable madness: 450 mana for 60 second 90% resistance to stun dizzy knock... Way better than army of one 500 mana for 30 seconds fo 80% resistance to physical/magical dmg... But anyway those are fair ones, nothing to complain. Our classes (barbs and knights) acts the way the should act.
About protector forget it, in the arena I've done tests with some of my clan mates and is worst than precise block (that acts on blocking chances better than protector, at least precise block lasts 30 seconds with 30 seconds cooldown, if it wasn't so it was just a shame ) Good armors dunno, but you have the possibility to have 20% passive more resistance to physical dmg. So I think the 2 classes are quite balanced.

I use Unstopable, Caution (lvl 4), Frenzy (lvl 5) and I have a mixed armor. My max hp is 4307, and still I go down twice as fast as a knight in battle. If you were right, how do you explain this?

Cause you have not a shield nor blocking chances. But you're an attack class and hit more than me, cause I'm a defensive one.
So quite balanced again

But if you played as a knight you wouldn't need so much attack but rather non-damaging spells that disables the enemy, and this is what you should get RP for.

To all knights. Consider this. You knights doesn't deal a lot of damage, and thus don't get a lot of RP. Instead, you should use spells like Feint, wich at level 5 would count as 1000 damage dealt on the enemy and give you a lot more RP than even a South Cross

didn't know about it, maybe I remember wrong but sometimes I use just it (cause mates kills before I can give an hit) and no rps, but I repeat I'm not sure of this and maybe I'm wrong.
I rely a lot on knock down spells. But to have a balanced setup I did get rid of area spell. There are always drawbacks. Anyway I wanna test the feint matter (I use it at lvl 4 so shoud be like an 800 dmg hit) in war zone when I can do it

I personaly have a mage piss off build, south cross is a way to kill him even, lvl 3 feint is enough, and spending points in tactics for 2 knocks is not the way, therefor killing him is the best way to make him useless, and a conju that will sanct-> ress him. My gameplay is looks more like a support, balestra on rushing warriors while im running to the enemie lines myself. Then I find a warlock or conju, dizzy, combo, knock, again combo, knock and BYE if its not hot yet, again repeat the sequence, then back to own lines helping control the knights and barbs of my enemy. Thats imo the way a knight should be played, its not about having knocks on lvl5, leeching RP's or whatever.
