It looks awesome and by then the open source drivers of ATI should be 3D accelerated, so wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! Only, I don't like the big shoulder-thingies of the dark elf knight. I would like some realism in the armor, like that it would work in real life not that is just looks 'cool'.

Awesome! Really, it's really, really nice! Good job!

But, as a physics student, I have only one word for you: diffraction. Look at the regnum_online_tech_update_hd-clip in 00:13 -- the light that slips through the leafs should form fuzzy, circular shapes rather than exact outlines of the branches and leafs. That way the light would look a lot nicer, smoother and realistic, and the distracting high contrast on the ground would disappear.

R500/X1*00 series is mostly there, but the R400/X*00 series and older should be good to go http://wiki.x.org/wiki/RadeonFeature The R600 and R700 3D docs are already released as well as programming guides and some example code, so it shouldn't be too much longer ill we get a new release of the open source drivers that you don't have to build yourself from git.

I have maybe stupid question but:
current engine does not support dungeons, will new one be able to support it? Will we have instances and other things that current one wasn't able to afford us?
And definitely pr0 work for keeping Linux version, and making it equally as good as Windows one.

My card is an ATI Radeon Xpress 200M, so I looked under R200. There is written that I should have 3D support, but I still get a 'your card is too old' message when starting Regnum.

install driconf.

after that you'll only get segfaults.
