OH GOD MY EYES! Total-awesome. I hope -real- stairs are included

But in the new chars video... meh.. generic hot mage is generic... I prefer the 'i spend time studying magic' look.

Other than that. Awesome.

Those are just prototypes not a final design, just a test to see how much of an improvement we could have using characters of 3000 polygons instead of 1000.

as NG3D 2.0 engine is still in development, we will do further tests... we will show progress on the new characters before we launch them

Well, regnum was originally designed to run on pre-shader hardware (Geforce2) then adapted to feature shaders and vertex buffers along the way...
let's just say that the ng3d 1.0 architecture is not properly optimized for current generation HW.

It´s really great those modification and the new look of regnum.

Just a few questions:

- The game, with the new engine, will be cpu-bound like now?
- It will be necesary that the client has a new graphic aceleration card?
- It will be one client or two? (one with the new engine and another with an old one for those low level pc)
- We will have a tecnical issue of the new engine?.

It would be very nice move from you guys if you would inform us periodically about your progress in development of new engine.. just to boost us bit more hope till we wait for it, with teaser posts.

What i like the most in this announcement is not just text and promises, but also screenshots as examples of your work and vision, as well as those videos, even available in many formats.

You really know sometimes to surprise positive.
