Maybe because others rely on barbarians for their damage, too? *shrugs

(Reaching them is a different topic though, I think all warriors should reach their targets more easily and be less devastating once they're there, that's what Umaril calls middle ground)

Brain piercing is useless.
Jaw breaker 1s casting, semi useless.
Back slam and beast attack are luck based attacks, no one relies on them, beast attack has another bonus so people still use it.
Howl is used a lot, I don't know what kind of barbarians do you face, but now is less duration and that area 6 is misleading.

Still all those skills don't avoid that another player hits you. For a barbarian or any warrior the best thing to cast is kick. The same way a warlock fights another warlock with meteor and dizzy spells before going full damage and not with pricking ivy.

Yes, let's quit meteor, silence, slow, etc to warlocks and see new combinations of skills. Then we can pass to archers and avoid ambush, burst of wind, winter stroke, snaring arrow and so on. And then we all play a game were mere damage vs defense wins fights, and so higher level warriors, archers and mages always wins to lower level ones.

And barbarians still rely on other classes for damage, ccs ,etc, all people rely on their comrades. *stupid shrugs.
I'm with you and Umaril, I was saying that in the last balance, but you know, oh, UM 10s is ok, oh, fulminate is ok, oh attack speed is ok, oh...and here we are.

I tried a fort war and it's getting worse, now people jump over the battlements and practically you can't hide.

Try more of them:P

Jump it's a bit triky,but not jump is the issue :P,fall dmg is the issue :P..wtv avoid them as i do :P

Old game vs New game.

Gameplay passed from PvP focus to RvR.
Gameplay passed from attributs to random.
Gameplay passed from speed and fast combat style to static gameplay.(removed/nerfred all speeds,disabled cast/hit will runing)


Gameplay changed a lots,i dislike this thinks as strght,int,dex, have almost inexistent influence in game.
I dislike now that triks are all printed random.
I dislike archers class needs range and is have very low influence in close combat.
I dislike new armor fixes.
I dislike WM implementation.
I dislike wars in new forts.
I dislike not a imporvement of GUI as dual hotbar(extendet) in so many years.



I like new forts design.
I like new revamped mobs.
I like new revamped areas.
I like WM update concept.
I like new concept of invasions with boats.


As a general opinion(personal) about gameplay,new style of gameplay does not fits with low population servers where main action is PvP and hunts partys and not invasions or fort wars.
From my point of view gameplay has degradet a lots.....and graphical got improvet a lots.(eye-candy)

I'm of the same opinion.
But RA is overpopulated and there are practically 0 wars. Personally I don't like them because normally there is not a balance of number and classes and then you get:
Lot's of knights, constant 50% resistance, you can't kill anyone.
Lot's of barbs with beacon and more and more with MS, they clean the door ultra fast.
Warlocks with beacons, the same, very high damage now from the battlements and from the door. CCs and more ccs and there are not enough dispels.
Archers bored with the new forts, no more squadrons of archers on the battlements.
Hunters with their all life limitations in wars.
Conjurers can not heal from above or from the floor to the ones on the battlements, you go outside MS and you are dead or you enter again or flee and wasted 2000+ mana.
Saves are just there or you have to come from your realm or from another fort.
