Now instead of everybody knowing where war is happening and when bosses are being killed, only the high levels in clans and the popular players in war parties will know.
This is a much better solution than simply ignoring the realm chat!

Are you happy ? Now it's done, we can't speak on wz with our realm... What a great change ! -_- NGD will be happy, now players have to buy banners in order to speak in war zone...

Thank you a lot for asking this idea... They are several problems more important that this one :/

Edit : what about deleting clan chat ? We can use it in war zone, it's a problem ! And the /chat people too, no ? :/ I hope this change will disappear soon...

I think one of the points of t his change is to make clans and clan chats more important.. You know, teamwork, cooperation and stuff.

I know this change is upsetting alot of players but the fact of the matter is that it was inevitable. NGD had intentions of removing realm chat as soon as they felt the population was big enough and i guess it is now. The other servers have no realm chat in the warzone meaning it was bound to happen to us. Just adapt to it

So teamwork, cooperation and stuff is only possible if you're in the same clan as the other person?
I thought being in the same realm was supposed to be enough.
Clans item whoring was bad enough before the removal of realm chat, now it's just a guild vs guild game.

It's pretty sad that players are impressed by this.
If you think about it, people have been asking for MONTHS for realm chat to be removed, and it only took Surakor like, 3 minutes to remove it.

EDIT: LOL@the amount of war banners that have been used in the past 5 minutes.
Engrave/remove gem socket, platinum box, gem lucky box, Horses... now war banners...
How long until RO becomes a pay to play game?

Yes. Every realm is full of different people. Some war from lvl 20, some grind inside realm until 50 and afterwards, some just sit in central save and chat. And you can not ENFORCE things and make all people magically follow you.

And clan is a group of people who have a common goal or values that can and want too cooperate.

by removing the realm chat is in my opinion a big mistake committed as NGD. it is almost impossible to buy or sell stuff to spoil my fun in the game still to play. I myself think that there are several players that view. for newcomers it is now difficult to ask questions if they do not go because they are harder to advanced players may come into contact. I liked the game because you could run several discussions and contact with other players but this update is huge game worse. if so maybe I still am a lot more players who quit. I really hope they update rollback so I also enjoy the game can have (which might be an opportunity for players that this way of playing but enjoy looking at it in the settings of your game is set for the Realm chat in the war zone to disable or turn right if the players find it pleasant to be able to use the realm chat)
