There has been "grinding"days ive finished my 30 syrtisquest before even got my first alsius kill!

I don't know if you've been on recently, but Ignis just teleports from fort to fort now. They have stopped bridge, roaming, OC and market fights entirely. The other day after the killed the noble I splotted five (5!) teleporters in there, so at the moment they can transfer 50 or more people from fort to fort depending on the time of day. A few days ago they held both Aggersborg and Herbred at the same time for literally hours, simply transfering people back and forth as needed so they could farm both. So in my experience, but there are no longer any other fights in the game (or they happen very rarely), unless you want to go kill grinders in swamp. And even then, there's no grinders anywhere else since the Warmasters update. It's like the whole of the realms have simply been lifted up and placed in one or two locations. The only exception is that Syrtains still use PP when they do not have their WMs on, so you can kill a few there, and maybe the occasional grinder at Syrt OC.

cheap's way of thinking may be ideal but it's only realistic for those who enjoy playing the underdog. For those who don't, it's completely unrealistic and would lead to nothing but frustration. There is a distinct contrast to the Alsius players on RA (most of which moved to Ignis when Horus was created), and the Alsius players on Horus; the Alsius players on Horus simply seem to be more the "don't want to just zerg people" types rather than the underdog types. I've even found a few who simply play there just because the landscape "isn't red".

If NGD doesn't want the forum to be full of negativity, they'd learn how to create some positive feelings in players. That is why you never see anything positive here; most players actually do not feel like there is anything positive about the game. It's a common saying in Alsius that the game will actually drive you to drinking. Let me say honestly that most Ignis and Syrtis cannot even begin to fathom what Alsius has gone through. It's true that Ignis had the population problem for a while, that was before invulnerable forts were added, that was before Warmasters was added and people had to grind to 60+ in a single location, that was before realm gates were made of paper and easy to destroy, that was before the nobles quest, that was before people could teleport, run around with super speed and be invulnerable to CC. That was before your realm's only Warmasters got banned for a quest glitch.

That was before, and this is now. It's time to get over it and realize that Alsius has been facing an entirely different situation. It's just a game, but as long as it costs money, it will also cause stress, because once money is spent it can't be returned, even if the product you bought is a complete lemon, and has zero customer support. That is the current state of Regnum Online in a nutshell for premium players, which by this point is the majority of the population. You can tell Free to play players that they aren't allowed to be negative, as they are playing the game for free. But for premium players there is no such right, especially with the ripoff prices in this game. A single horse costs as much as a month-long subscription to many other MMOs, yet comes with the customer support of absolutely nothing. It's nothing to do with Alsius being underpopulated, Warmasters update or anything else; it's players being frustrated over all their concerns simply being ignored by NGD. Worst; players can't even rely on NGD usually to fix a problem if they run into a bad situation.

So if new players come to the forums and see nothing but negativity, let it be a fair warning to them, because its the truth.
