The game should not force the player to purchase a mount for real money. Don't be so stingy. You cannot play this game without a mount. It only shows that for NGD new players aren't important. I don't know any MMORPG where I was forced to spend rl money on horse. The old option where I was able to buy a horse for gold was really nice. Leveling issue should be resolved before the introduction of WM expansion. Better late than never but never late is better :P

Another MMO I play gave the player a choice of 3 mounts after a level 11 quest or something. It was a really nice surprise, and made me feel like the game was rewarding me just for playing, not just giving me crappy common items. It's certainly a morale boost of some sorts.

Item mall is f*cked up as it is.
It shouldn' t be full of mounts at all, it should be full of other stuff like costums, weapon skins and such. Leveling up is f*cked up the same way 'cause of scrolls. They should rework their item mall content completely. |

I don't think mounts should be free i mean NGD has to make some profit which is fine. But i think they could make huge profits by making the auction house able to sell xim that has been bought by other players. For example players in many cases have xim left over which they don't need like 2k xim, 1k xim, 500 xim, 200 xim, and 50 xim. This right here could be sold to other players that can't afford a mount for mags, gold, and gear. Or if NGD thinks its a good idea champion coins and warmaster coins.
I think this has a huge profit generating potential while at the same time making mounts hugely more attainable for those who can't or just don't want to buy mounts. Just to note it takes money to keep things going in this game so its not right that everything should be free. But there are just so many more creative ways to make money and allowing those who can't or don't want to pay the ability to attain all that is needed to play the game. To add: Some players who are more wealthy my want to buy huge amounts of xim for the sole purpose of selling to other players (which is very good for NGD) for mags, gold, and gear. And if NGD thinks adding champion coins and warmaster coins as tradable for xim, these might have very good consequences. Last edited by Ludwig Von Mises; 04-23-2015 at 03:16 PM. |

Yes and no. In one hand, yes, it's more important for users to quickly reach a level high enough to involve themselves in combat. However, on the other hand, if RNG were as it is and those "new" players start to realize it, they'll either quit or not recommend the game at all to their friends. Plus, they'd get to read "old" users complaining about it and basically lowering their morale. Once RNG's worked on, combat should no longer be a completely random and frustrating experience. This will help both "old" AND new players, and may attract even more people, including those who left due to the crappy rng system. Since, from what I can see, this thread got a bit (too much) derailed and is starting to heavily depend on speculations, I'll close it, but rest assured we're aware of the issue and we're getting our hands on it very soon. Best, |
