Default Squid Island Test

I've spend some time on squid Island yesterday. Here is what I found
  • With treasures around you can easily get 200000-300000 of gold quiting init.zone with clear gold and items (i've got elite knight weapon for example)
  • Nice possibility to get first RP
  • Awesome grinding spots

Arena is limited by lvl 1-9 but there are several ways to get in on higher (any) level:
  • Come in with the end of 10 and grind
  • Save at altar on Island, get your level (even with scroll) and die After relog you will be disbanded from island's altar anyway.

Second way is not fair and should be fixed IMAO.

Ignis fortification on Island is bugged. You can get running around left part of wall. See screenshot. (NGD could ban this guy though. He even got knight's specialization already and used block buff).



Also I saw this guy saving and resurecting at Ignis altar even he is Syrtian

And he could not get back. After several drownings he logged off.

What a waste of land, like level 1-9 players are going to go full war against each other.

Why couldn't this island be for level 29-44 or something?

I like the idea of the island very much, but especially in reference to less populated servers than Ra, I think the level restriction should be changed (as well as the monsters' level, of course).
The quest line from 1 to 25 is not bad at all (for all realms), and there is plenty enough to do. Spending time on an island rather confuses new players, I guess..? They will eventually return after some levelling and find themselves surrounded by quests far below their level.

Since there are few quests after level ~25, don't you think it would be better to have this area adjusted to level 30-40ish?

On ra island is populated only in evenings and not so much.

The point of it to show new comers some possibilities of the game. I like the description of quest. I'd just add some well-dressed merchant or simple NPC.

Maybe add there some pickable flag which gives owner realm players XP and\or Gold bonus just on this island if stored on island's realm wall. Flag should be shown on the map. This will focus and gather players into same place.

Regarding higher levels I'd say we need to choose level limit when join Arena:
  1. < 10
  2. 11-20
  3. 21-29
  4. 30-39
  5. 40-49
  6. 50-60
or by setting limit by hand from to.

I think many of you played games like Counter-Strike, Unreal, Quake 3, Halflife etc.
Let starter choose map, amount of players, level limits and wait for other players.

Same system with instances would be great. We could make fights for some definitely setted level and for parties 3x3x3, or even 1x1x1. Why Not?

I think this Island is a nice idea ... I like it.

But the island is really not necessairy. I think nobody in this low level is going to fight, because he has really no experience of this game.
Also there aren't enough low-level guys who could play there...

its such an awesome island, but in haven you're usually alone when you go there
it feels like a waste to have it lv 1-9 only
