Hello everyone,

i wanted to return to RO after a break of 2 years i think.
i want to make a complete reroll new realm new class.
but what class and realm are at the moment the most fun to play in
and are there any big changes?

Play barb, its still as OP as before. Lock is still nerfed to death, only small improvements, conju got nerfed too in the last update, hunter is sh*t without boss gear still, marks has da range still, oh and knight can be played too since they got buffed up with instant dizzy spells, protect ally got bufed up and defensive support 's speed malus got lowered too. SO play barb or knight

Howdy, welcome back.

I was in this same situation when I came back to the game after not playing for years. Was time to try a new server, and just a fresh start in general.


My adventures have lead me to playing in Ignis, which imo is a wonderful place to play. Yes we have our down time, which every realm does I'm sure, but I honestly don't mind it. I love how our realm plays the game overall, and the regulars we have in the realm are pretty awesome. Couldn't ask for a better realm to play in imo. We may not be as populated as the other two realms, but it's still awesome. But chose what you feel is best for you, if it does turn out to be Ignis, then I will be glad to help you in game with anything any time if I'm online.


As far as the classes go... Seems warriors and conjs have become the backbone of the game. Marks can make a huge difference too. It's funny because hunter and lock are my 2 main subclasses, and knowing that the other subclasses are more vital to battle, I still have a desire to play them.

Heyy, advertising own realms is lame!

I suppose - if you are unsure - make 3 accs in all reams and play them randomly. Check after 2 weeks where you had the most fun.

Exactly, lol. In all three realms are douchebags and also nice players, asking which realm is better is really no use. Alsius is bit lower on numbers nowadays, but this tends to change.

I'd recommend you just choose realm which terrain do you like more, cause grinding in hostile enviroment will be even more annoying.
If you like trolls, dwarves, snow and high mountains, choose Alsius, if you are classic fan of tolkien Elves and stuff like that, choose Syrtis, and finally, if you are fascinated by desert, mummies, dark elves and dark stuff, go for ignis.

hey, welcome back. IMO good classes to be played is knight and conj. Lock is getting better and hunter are mostly ganking-defenseless-players class.

Marx still can be easy if you choose to play ranged...

And ofc barb still is one of the most decisives classes, kill or die shit.



About realm, i play ignis and i think syrtis seems good too.

The only realm i actualy dont feel like playing (however some ppl can be kind and cool there) is alsius (but this is just a personal stuff. choose what you find best)

Advertising my realm would be me saying "Hey, come play in Ignis, it's the best/ funnest to play in". That would be extremely biased of me to say, but it's also rude to ignore someone's question. So I just gave my opinion about the realm I play in.
