The Fastest Speed You'll Ever Witness

hi guys,

i've been wanting to capture a video which demonstrates what the fastest attack speed in Regnum looks like. please correct me if i am wrong but i believe there is no such speed which exceeds the 75% total which i have put together using equipment, self buffs, and Bless.

here is my setup. please note that my staff is lacking damage; it simply contains 14% AS and no extra damage besides its base. The damage is not a representation of actual DPS put forth by active SM mages, which is found to be significantly higher than shown in this video. thank you.

- Ring of Lightning (5%)
- Ring of Lightning (5%)
- Light Tunic (4%)
- Gloves (7%)
- Bracelet (5%)
- Elven Staff (14%)
- Arcane Acceleration (25%)
- Bless (10%)

i totally forgot about the WM ammy!!! it will have to be remade down the road.. thats very dissapointing

Edit: in reality.. i will never spend 250k on the 10% AS ammy. so witnessing 85% is very unlikely at least from me

Once you have the 250k you could buy it on Amun just for testing. Once in a while it is open for public :P.

But i think the highest attack speed we ever witnessed was probably saerolyth with stacked dragon gems. He had 3 gems, that alone was 90% attack speed. Also quite sure at a certain % you won't see any difference. The animation probably won't be able to keep up and they fixed that. That's why we had double,triple etc. hits in the early days.
If i remember right he couldn't get more than 4 or 5 fulmi hits, that's what some people also reach at the moment.

Might be helpful to find out what the limit is so you don't overstack, if that is really the case, i might be wrong.

Pretty sure it has a cap. Was talking to The Penchenski about it. (Saero) He was saying that at 39% he couldn't tell a difference in the stacking.

it does not necessarily have a cap. rather it has tiers. i tested this a year back and found that there is absolutely no difference unless the next tier is surpassed.

perhaps the tiers are in tens? 10%, 20%, 30%, etc ... it would require further trial and error in order to come to a conclusion.

39%? Didn't expect it to be that early. If that's the case quite sure some people might be already overstacking.

But the fact that saero couldn't get a higher fulmi amount kinda shows that there is a limit. Since even with over 100% attack speed he couldn't reach a higher tier.

of course. there must be a cap but certainly not as low as 39%. i'm quite certain that AS tiers do exist based on my personal tests. i realized that equipping an further 5% AS made absolutely no difference, but adding onto that 5% with further gear did generate that faster attack.

i'm not sure what that cap is, but i would think that it's somewhere between 90% and above based of what you've told us about saerolyth.
