Q:about stats

why is it automatically placed every after you lvl? Weird though..

Does Race have anything to do with stats too?

Stats will incease differently depending on your initial stats setup.
Your race defines your initial stat setup, and then you have 5 points to add of your likings.

Well the reason why you can not place your stats where you like was something done because NGD was in fear that some might put points in some areas and then regret it later and having no way to change that later. So the solution to that was just have the system assign it for you. In trade for that the spell system was designed to be flexible.

Your starting stats are a combination of race and class but after that
your stats for each level are controlled by your class (Mage, Archer, Warrior).
