Which is Funner? Hunter vs. Marks
Hey, I'm hoping to see many opinions on which would be funner to play as: a hunter, or a marksman. Archer EXP would be somewhat helpfull =P
This is just a discussion thread btw lol. In my opinion I would think Marks, due to high damage. But I don't know about hunter. The ability to hunt and have pets seems fun, but which is funner to play as? Is it funner to hit high, or have pets/ hunt? YOU decide! |

I'm a lvl 50 marks, I've only ever played a hunter up to lvl14.
I'd say playing either would be very fun. Although a marks hit better they are more vulnerable than a hunter is. A hunter can go invisible and have pets to help them and generally survive better than marks do in hunts. In fort wars, marksmen are more useful as they have more range and firepower. Hunters have only 1 or two damage spells that are class specific while marks have a whole discipline of them. I prefer fort wars to hunts, and I love my extra range which is why I'd argue playing a marks is much more fun and challenging. |

Hunter, a few examples -
Around level 25 I went exploring in ignis territory, ran into some high level players (I think looking back that they were marks). I ran, they chased, one of them ALMOST kept up with me right down from near samal to the swamp. Had I been a marksman I would have been caught -- too slow. Today Kaeleeya and I (please be spelled right.. please.. ) ran into two ignis near the border, one was a marks near my level, another a barbarian, didn't see the level.. anyway, the barbarian, damned if I know why, RUNS, leaving the marksman to die (10rp!). So I track and pick up a warrior, impossible (!) in the direction he ran. About five tracks and down to the swamp, I find an impossible warrior sitting in the middle of the road, plain sight >_> Was it the same guy? Maybe. Would I have found him if I were a marksman? Probably not. Wait, what was I saying? Oh right.. If you like pissing the enemy off by - Chasing them for miles and killing them Leading them for miles and escaping from them Hunter is for you |

Marksmen are killing machines when it comes to fort wars.
No other class can spam so much damage at range 30+ In the open field a hunter does better cause they have the skills like invisibility and they can track enemies far away. Actually you have to make the decision what type of playing fits more to you |
