I actually like it the way it is now, if you have custom avatars soon people come with animated stuff and that gets my blood boiling.

I prefer the current avatar choices, because it is limited people are more prone to display an avatar related to their realm. And I just like to know which realm a poster is from

I'd also agree to tak's view on this matter.

no it won't, cause I could chose the ignis logo if I wanted to, the easiest solution for this would be to get the information from the database and write it to the forum account.

I would prefer custom avatars too with a function which could decide if you wanted to view them or not

Like I said, people are more prone. Meaning more likely

They could choose a neutral avatar or something related to an enemy realm obviously. I know some people who do. Also, we can already opt to not have other people's avatars displayed under the control panel.

I agree, most people use the basic three realm icons, and this is useful for seeing at a glance what realm they are from...

However it does somewhat detract from seeing who's who when there's a run of posts from the same realm. Having individual avatars would assist in making posts more personal at a glance.

I don't really care about all that of course, I'm just very vain.
